European PowerTennis - 1 Serve Rule

In Formula 1, if the first start does not go your way, do you get to start the car twice?
If you run the 100 metres, do you get a second start because the first one failed?
In golf, do you get another shot because you did not like the first?
If you miss a penalty in football, do you get another one?
So why should tennis give you two chances to start every point?
In traditional tennis, serve is such a major advantage that once a player gets a break, you often already know who will win the set. That makes matches feel predictable, and when matches last several hours, the audience has to wait a long time for momentum to really change.
European PowerTennis changes that with the One-Serve Rule
One serve. Miss it, and you lose the point.
Suddenly, holding serve becomes harder. A break is no longer nearly as decisive, momentum can change within minutes and a player can quickly fight their way back into the match.
It changes the experience for the audience a lot. There is less waiting between first and second serves, more pressure on every point and greater opportunity for rallies to develop.
Combined with 14-minute matches, momentum can shift in seconds and keep every point meaningful and the audience engaged from start to finish.
